Tuesday, Friday, Saturday 6am-3pm Located across the street from the Lancaster Marriott Lancaster Central Market is personally one of our favorite weekend activities! Centrally located in a beautiful old building, this farmers' market is a collection of food and crafts stands from the Amish and from local artisans. We encourage all our guests to check out this special spot.
If you know Stu, you know he loves his meats. Cabalar Meat Co is a must! Even Cailen loves it - so much so that she sends photos of her Breakfast Sandwich to friends every time she's there just to make them jealous. For the meat lovers, the House Special burger is a must. For the non meat eaters, the Falafel sandwich and the Breakfast Sandwich are mouth-watering.
Cailen and Stu have been OG diners of Luca since it opened. The vibe is great and the food is even better. They are a farm-driven Italian kitchen focused on impeccably sourced vegetables and roasted meats, Neapolitan-inspired pizzas, and handmade pastas. Luca is located 1 mile from the Lancaster Marriott.
One of the best places for a hearty, home cooked breakfast in downtown Lancaster. Cailen's favorite is the classic Old Standby. Stu's top pick is the Chilaquiles. One thing's for certain, you must order one of their famous Swedish Pancakes for the table! They do not accept reservations.
Absolutely delicious for breakfast and lunch! Salads, sandwiches, burgers, eggs - everything is delicious here! What is Tomato Pie, you say? Tomato Pie Café’s Signature Dish is a Fisher Family Original. Deliciously seasoned red tomatoes are baked in a flaky pie crust, covered with a rich cheesy topping. It is unlike anything you've had before!
If you're looking for the best city views of Lancaster, this is your spot! The Exchange is the rooftop restaurant and bar at Lancaster Marriott. We suggest planning ahead and making reservations for sunset hour - it's not to be missed!
One of Cailen and Stu's favorite things to do in Lancaster is visit Waltz Vineyards! With gorgeous views of endless farmland, we encourage our guests to bring a blanket and some snacks (and even a pup!) to Waltz Vineyards in Manheim. Visitors have the option to either schedule a tasting in their tasting room or to purchase a bottle and set up a picnic outside! Reservations are required for the tasting room.
A quaint town 20 minutes outside of Lancaster, the main street of Lititz is filled with antique shops, cafes, and home to the Wilbur Chocolate Factory! A can’t miss in Lititz is Olio Olive Oils and Balsamics store - our all time favorite dressings for salads, veggies, etc!
Mt. Gretna Lake & Beach is a family owned and operated swim and recreation venue that is open to the public for a daily fee. This is a great day activity for families with young children and is about a 38 minute drive from Lancaster Marriott. There are also great hikes in the area!
