Cailen brought oysters. Natalie brought bandaids. There was a little blood and a lot of laughs. The security guard wouldn't let them into the cemetery they had planned to start their date in, but they set up their picnic (complete with candlelight and filter feeders) outside the gates and the rest is history!

Cailen plotted and schemed for a big surprise, and mother nature pitched in to make it memorable with a big ol' storm! He still managed to get Natalie on a hike in the rain and proposed looking out over what is (usually) an amazing view of the California coast. It was perfect :) After the hike back, drinking champagne out of camp cups, they headed to what Natalie thought was lunch with Cailen's aunties. Surprise surprise, it was actually a gathering of their closest friends and family at the Pelican Inn. Her jaw hit the floor. He did such a good job!
