Answer

We kindly ask you to arrive by 2:45 PM. The ceremony begins promptly at 3:00 PM at St. Clement’s Church in Lincoln Park. Please allow extra time for traffic, parking, and getting settled. A timely start helps ensure the bride, groom, and families have enough time for photos afterward. Thank you for helping us stay on schedule. Address: St. Clement’s Church 642 W Deming Pl, Chicago, IL 60614

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We kindly request the color black formal attire, black tie encouraged. For women, we suggest solid black dresses that are mid to floor length. For men, a tuxedo is encouraged but not required. A black suit or black pants with a black jacket and tie is perfect (white under shirt). Check out our Pinterest board here for more inspiration: https://pin.it/1ZLM2UMjr

There is just over an hour between the ceremony and reception, which is a great time to explore some local favorites. Near the church in Lincoln Park, Halligan Bar is one of Caila and Allan's top picks for a classic Irish pub. Lincoln Park is also home to excellent dive and sports bars, ideal if you want to catch a World Cup game or enjoy a relaxed drink. As you head downtown, consider stopping at Three Dots and a Dash, a hidden tiki bar known for creative cocktails. Closer to the Palmer House, Cindy’s Rooftop offers beautiful skyline views, or you can relax at the hotel’s lobby bar. Question

If you could only choose one or two things to do in Chicago, what would you recommend? If you could only choose one or two things to do in Chicago, what would you recommend?

Answer

One of our favorite things about Chicago is how walkable the city is. If you’re planning a day or night out, we recommend focusing on one or two neighborhoods so you can explore multiple spots without rushing. If we had to recommend just one thing, it would be the architecture boat tour. It lasts about an hour and a half and takes you along the riverfront while showcasing Chicago’s incredible architecture. After the tour, be sure to stroll along the beautiful Riverwalk, grab a drink or a snack and soak in the views.
