Cole & Savannah met at Czech Days in 2018 where they both danced in the same Beseda circle that year, not knowing what was to come the rest of the weekend. Cole had worked at the same bank as Savannah's mom that summer, where Savannah had helped Cole's dad at the co-op. This had become the talking point that Friday night after dancing, along with a few pivos. Joleen, Savannah's mom, had become her wing-woman that evening in helping her talk to Cole the rest of the weekend! Cole & Savannah shared a keg burger and she gave him her phone number. Savannah impatiently waited that Sunday for Cole to text her and three years later they are engaged!

On a calm Sunday evening, Cole and Savannah had been relaxing at home preparing for the week. Cole and Goose were in the bedroom when he asked Savannah to come in. There was Cole down on one knee with Goose, where Cole said that Goose had something on his paw. Savannah was concerned and looked down, and there was the ring - tied to his paw with floss. Savannah freaked out, said "what the heck!" and then obviously said yes.
