We met working as counselors at a kids' summer camp in 2008, after our freshman year of college (at different schools). We were both dating other people at the time, but we quickly became friends. We stayed in touch from time to time after that summer, and towards the end of 2010 we started talking more and more. Scott asked Katie on a date in December, and the rest is history!
