Our Ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at the church around 3:30pm - 3:45pm
Ubers and Lyfts from the city can take anywhere from 40 minutes to 90 minutes, please plan accordingly, Chicago traffic on Saturdays can be a lot. Metra stations (UP-N) are walking distance from both the ceremony and reception. Please check the schedules, as trains are less frequent on the weekends. There will be street parking at the church and a parking lot/valet service at the reception for guests who are driving.
Our dress code is Black Tie Optional. We'd love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us in style! Men are encouraged to wear a tuxedo or suit and tie. Ladies can opt for a dress of any length, midi or long dress preferred. Weather permitting, we will have cocktail hour outside under the tent. There will be heat lamps, but ladies might want to bring an extra layer. Please note Skokie has a no denim policy.
Yes! We will have shuttles from the Hotel block to the ceremony at the Church - we will update the timing here as soon as we have it finalized. Shuttles will take guests from the Church to the Reception, if you are planning to take the shuttle from the Church to Skokie, please indicate in your RSVP. We want to make sure we book enough space! We will also have shuttles after the reception back to the Hotel - we will update the timing here as soon as we have it finalized.
