WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

The Bride and Groom request cocktail attire, ties optional for men. The ceremony will be outside on grass, so, ladies, stilettos optional but not recommended.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

Absolutely! Please indicate how many children will be attending on the RSVP.

DO YOU HAVE A HOTEL BLOCK FOR GUESTS?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a room block for our guests at The Westin at La Paloma. For more information, please see the "Accommodations" tab.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

Tucson has a dry desert climate. (That means hardly any humidity...woo!!) While during the day it tends to reach mid 70s to mid 80s, at night it can drop to mid 50s.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE SERVICE OR PARKING AT THE VENUE?

Answer

There will not be a shuttle service for guests to go from hotel to venue. There will however, be parking available for those that drive themselves. Uber & Lyft do service the areas of the hotel and the venue if guests do not want to drive themselves.

WHAT TYPE OF FOOD WILL BE SERVED AT DINNER?

Answer

Dinner options will include the following: Grilled Flat Iron Steak in a roasted demi glaze with twice baked mashed potatoes and broccolini Chile Honey Grilled Salmon in a chipotle vinaigrette with cotija whipped sweet potatoes and broccolini Portobello Steak & Oyster Mushrooms in a chimichurri sauce with olive oil mashed potatoes (Vegan) Kids (under 11) - Chicken Tenders with macaroni and cheese and a cookie

CAN I TAKE AND POST PICTURES OF THE WEDDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Answer

Yes!! The Bride & Groom encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #EatDrinkandBeMertens so we can keep track of all of the pictures!
