Isla Mujeres
We visited Isla Mujeres during our first trip to Cancun and absolutely loved it! You can either visit the Island through an organized tour (Viator has lots of options to choose from or you can book through the hotel) or do what we did and take the ferry over yourself, rent a golf cart and spend the day exploring the island (our recommendation). Ultramar Ferry Details - Get a taxi through the hotel and head to Puerto Juarez or Playa Tortugas (both are about a 30 minute drive from the hotel). The ferry schedule can be found here: https://www.ultramarferry.com/en/routes-and-departures Island Recommendations - Rent a golf cart for the day from any of the stands and explore the island. Playa Norte is a famous and beautiful beach! - When we visited, we drove across the island and stopped at restaurants for tacos and margaritas along the way! Let us know if you have any questions!
