This is a wedding reception AND house warming! There will be no traditions. There will be no speeches or dress code. We just want everybody, including the kids, to have a good time! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!
We decided to have a small, private ceremony with our immediate family on Friday, June 12, 2020.
Great question! Not so perfect answer...we sure hope so! We had kind of put off planning this and then Governor Little announced his four stage plan for re-opening Idaho and we decided to take it as a sign to start planning again when 'Stage 4: Groups of more than 50" literally began the day we had originally planned for our reception. BUT! We will be sure to let you know ASAP if we have to change the date if things don't go according to plan.
We get it, and our feelings will not be hurt! Everyone has to do what works best for them and their family. Just so everyone knows, we will be taking steps to make everyone feel comfortable. Solo cups so we can write our names and not accidentally pick up someone else's drink...cupcakes instead of cake so not too handsy with the dessert...and LOTS of hand sanitizer and soap. :)
Coming to our reception/house warming is a gift in itself! But if you would like to get us a little something, a contribution to our honeymoon would be much appreciated. But again...we are in a pandemic, and we know times have been tough for many. All we would love is to celebrate with all of you in our new home!
