Her kindness, imagination, and big heart make the world a little brighter—and significantly more adorable. Today, Skylar finally gets her happily ever after, complete with love, laughter, and hopefully a soundtrack worthy of a Disney ending.

Caden is a math teacher, which means he’s very good at numbers, explaining things multiple times, and staying calm when nothing makes sense. When he’s not shaping young minds, he’s probably gaming (competitively, but respectfully) or playing the saxophone—yes, the sexy jazz instrument, and yes, he is that guy. He loves a good strategy, a better playlist, and somehow manages to balance logic and creativity like it’s a perfectly solved equation. Thoughtful, patient, and unintentionally hilarious, Caden makes life more fun, more musical, and significantly better calculated. I’m lucky enough to marry him, and you’re lucky enough to get to party with him.

Maid of Honor
Mary- the maid of honor, emotional support human and real life Disney princess (animals included). She’s got a heart of gold, and a deep love for all creatures (furry, feathered, or scaly). Whether she’s rescuing animals or quoting Disney movies mid-crisis, she’s the magical, animal-loving best friend everyone wishes they had.
Tristan Hopkins
Best Man
Tristan isn’t just Caden’s older brother—he’s his built-in #1 opp, lifelong role model, and the very first call when life throws a curveball. So when Caden started thinking about who could possibly stand by his side as Best Man, the answer was instant and obvious: Tristan. Dependable, kind, and endlessly teasing, Tristan is the guy who shows up every single time—no questions asked. Whether it’s big moments or small ones, he’s always there when you need him, which makes him the perfect person to stand next to Caden on one of the biggest days of his life.

Matron of Honor
Diana- the brides sister-in-law, matron of honor, interior design, genius, dinosaur devotee, and unapologetic Swiftie. She can redesign a room, name, five species of dinosaurs, and quote a Taylor Swift lyrics for literally any situation (yes, even wedding stress). She’s elegant, creative, and the kind of person who help plan the perfect wedding and make sure it’s “enchanted” from start to finish. Basically, if you mash up Joanna Gaines, Ross Geller, and Taylor Swift— you’d get Diana.
Quentin Hooker
Groomsman
Quentin is the bride’s brother, built-in protector, and all-around MVP. When he’s not literally running into burning buildings as a firefighter, you can find him watching, talking about, or passionately debating sports (stats included, opinions strong). He’s dependable, fearless, and always ready to show up when it matters—whether that’s on the job or for his sister. We’re grateful to have Quentin standing by our side, bringing big-brother energy, firefighter bravery, and sports commentary to the wedding weekend.
Alexis Loveland
Bridesmaid
Alexis is basically half human, half wildlife rescue center. If an animal limps within a 10-mile radius, it will somehow end up in her care—whether it’s a baby bird, a raccoon, or a “totally safe” possum she insists on cuddling. When she’s not nursing animals back to health, she’s off exploring like it’s her full-time job, usually spotted halfway up a tree that no one else thought to climb. Alexis has a fearless, adventurous spirit, and somehow manages to make “climbing things she probably shouldn’t” look like a perfectly reasonable hobby. She brings heart, courage, and a touch of wilderness magic to the bridal party.
John Crain
Groomsman
John is a man of many talents—most notably his love for beating people at card games and making sure everyone knows about it. When he’s not hanging out with friends or plotting his next win, he’s discovered a new passion for baking bread, proving that he can bring both the heat at the table and the carbs to the kitchen. Competitive, fun-loving, and always up for a good time, John is the kind of friend who makes every moment better—and today, Caden is hoping he brought a deck of cards to the reception.
Sydney Dobbs
Bridesmaid
Sydney is our cat-loving, plant-whispering bridesmaid with the heart of an adventurer and the soul of an anime heroine. She can turn any space into a cozy jungle thanks to her green thumb, and she always has a new One Piece theory ready to share (don’t worry, she can summarize it… sort of). Basically, if you need someone to water your plants, cuddle your cat, or argue passionately about pirates in straw hats, this is your girl.
Josh Adams
Groomsman
Josh is truly one of a kind—and possibly three kinds, depending on the day. He exists simultaneously at three different ages and still hasn’t quite decided which one is correct. Josh speaks German… but only when he stubs his toe, and has learned Japanese just because he can. Mysterious, unpredictable, and endlessly entertaining, Josh brings a lot of confusion and a lot of laughter wherever he goes—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Gracie Fain
Bridesmaid
Gracie- the bride’s college friend and the only bridesmaid here who could probably deliver a chicken mid-speech if needed. Her love for poultry is unmatched (seriously, she’s basically the Chicken Whisperer). She loyal, hilarious, and slightly obsessed with feathered creatures—but that’s why we love her. No chickens were harmed in the making of this wedding… yet
Jarred Brown
Groomsman
Jarred is the groom’s college roommate, which means he’s seen things… and somehow still agreed to stand up here today. A dedicated gamer with a love for cars, Jarred thrives in any situation that involves strategy, competition, and staying up way too late. If there’s a controller nearby—or a car to talk about—he’s already locked in. Loyal, sharp, and always ready for a rematch, Jarred brings calm focus, clutch decision-making, and just the right amount of chaos to the group. We’re grateful to have him by our side—especially since he’s been surviving the groom since college.
Maya Keller
Bridesman
Maya – Bug Whisperer, Ren Faire Royalty, and Explorer Extraordinaire. If you lose Maya at any point during the wedding, check under a rock, in a nearby forest, or wherever the nearest Renaissance Faire is being held. She’s probably chatting with a beetle, sword-fighting a knight, or finding a “shortcut” that turns into a three-hour nature hike. Maya is our bug-loving, adventurer who can name more insects than most people have socks. If there’s a beetle, butterfly, or mystery six-legged creature nearby, she’ll find it, name it, and probably try to adopt it. Basically, if adventure (or a bug) calls, Maya always answers.
Michael Peninger
Groomsman
Michael is the guy who knows his cars, dominates at video games (according to him), and never misses a football season. If there’s an engine to admire, a controller to grab, or a game on TV, he’s in his element. He brings great energy, competitive spirit, and just the right amount of chaos to the group. Loyal, laid-back, and always down for a good time, Michael is the kind of friend you want by your side on a big day—especially if there’s food, football, or friendly trash talk involved.
