I was working as a server at Buffalo Wild Wings in Elk River. Cade came in to eat with his 2 friends Justin and Ben and lucky me, they got seated in my section! I thought Cade was very cute (still think that 😉) so I expressed my thoughts just to see what he would say. He was flattered and when I went back to the table to bring them their checks, he had left his name and number on a drink napkin for me, which I still have to this day! I texted him that same night and the rest is history 🥰

It was a Friday night, Cade had set up Christmas lights out on the deck and in some trees in our backyard to surprise me! I wanted to go look at Christmas lights sometime during the holiday season but we just hadn’t had the chance yet. After dinner, I got comfy on the couch looking for a Christmas movie and Cade was trying to coerce me out on the deck for the surprise but I was not playing along at all 🤣 I finally got up to look, we head out to the deck, he flips on all the lights and I was shocked! This is where he proposed, I cried and of course, said yes!
