**Our Story** From different corners of the country, Cade and Reilly’s paths were destined to cross. Reilly, a small-town girl from Grand Haven, Michigan, and Cade, a Southern California guy from Irvine, found themselves thousands of miles from home in the summer of 2023. They were both heading into their junior year at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia, each with dreams of playing baseball and volleyball at the collegiate level. What neither of them expected was that they would meet each other—and instantly know that God’s hand was over them. It didn’t take long for them to become inseparable. Though they had come from different backgrounds, their connection was undeniable. Both had traveled far from their hometowns to pursue their athletic dreams, but they had no idea that Shorter University would not only shape their athletic careers but also introduce them to some of their best friends—and, most importantly, to the person they would spend the rest of their lives with. As they finished their time at Shorter, Cade and Reilly found their next dream—teaching and coaching in Charlotte, North Carolina. With the lessons they had learned about hard work, dedication, and faith, they stepped into new roles where they could inspire the next generation. Their love for each other grew stronger as they both grew into the people they were always meant to be. Now, with their engagement marking the beginning of forever, they are eagerly anticipating their wedding day on August 8, 2026. True to family tradition, Reilly will return to her roots in Michigan, where their marriage will begin with the love and support of both their families. It’s not just a wedding—they’re looking forward to uniting their lives as one, under the eyes of those they hold dear, and with God at the center of it all. Every day is a new adventure for Cade and Reilly, and they can’t wait to see what God has in store for them as they begin this next chapter, counting down the days until they say “I do.”
