We met through the NMSU Christian Challenge in 2021, and until we were placed on the New Mexico Team for a mission trip the summer of 2022, we hadn’t spent much time together. We became good friends over the course of the semester leading up to and through the trip, and after the summer, the unspoken romance began. Cade dragged his feet and Georgia waited patiently, the whole time cultivating a deep and wonderful friendship. When Georgia decided she would move to Waco, Cade realized he had to take action soon. He finally asked her out and she said yes (and ended up not moving to Waco.) We were placed on separate overseas summer missions teams and went to two different countries, unable to speak for 2 months. Upon return, the flame still burned brightly. Through ups and downs, here we are. We got engaged on September the 17th, and are eager for December 16th to arrive. God is the foundation upon which we are built, and we look forward to a life of glorifying the Lord, side by side, arm in arm. We want our marriage to be a reflection of Christ's relationship with His church. As we continue to navigate life together, we look forward to being made one as a family, to grow the Lord's kingdom and share His love.
