The wedding is on a family friend's private property near Coal Creek, CO. There is no address for the property, however, to get a rough idea of where to go, here is the address of the first house on the easement: 33535 Nadm Dr, Golden, CO 80403 (THIS IS NOT THE ADDRESS OF THE WEDDING)
From Golden, drive north on CO-93 for 7.3 miles. Immediately after crossing the railroad track, turn left at the light on CO-72. Drive for 6.9 miles before turning left on Twin Spruce Rd. This turn is on the apex of a left curve and can easily be missed. If you pass the Sinclair gas station on the left, you've gone too far. Continue on Twin Spruce Rd for 2.7 miles. At the beginning of a hairpin left curve, turn slightly right onto Nadm Dr. After 0.2 miles, take the first right up a narrow dirt road. As you crest the top of the hill, there will be a house directly in front of you. This house is the address provided in the previous answer. Turn left and continue down the easement. You will then drive up to a second house where the road forks. Turn left and continue on the easement. Once you pass through the open gate, you are on the property.
Since this is an undeveloped property, there is no great place for parking, so it will be scattered around. If you arrive early or on time, there will be someone near the open gate that will help direct you to parking. If you arrive and nobody is there to help you, please park along the road immediately after passing through the gate, leaving enough room for cars to still pass through on the easement. After parking, walk down the easement into the meadow. For anybody who is not able to make the short walk, there will be a few spaces to park in the meadow.
The road is slightly washed out in places, but can be driven with a 2WD vehicle. However, if you have the option, an AWD or 4WD vehicle would be best. Low clearance cars might scrape against some rocks. We would also like to limit the footprint we leave by limiting the number of cars we bring to the property, so carpooling is highly encouraged!
Instead of the traditional rows of chairs, our wedding will have multiple picnic blankets set up for you! So please dress in attire that you will be comfortable in. Keep in mind this will be a boho/woodsy event with uneven terrain and Colorado weather, so dress cute and casual!
Chairs will be set up in the back for anybody who needs one. However, if you are capable of comfortably sitting on the ground, we would love for you to find a spot on one of our picnic blankets.
Cell service will be very limited at best at the wedding as well as the drive into the property. Please keep a copy of the directions offline so you can navigate your way to the wedding.
The type of weather (rainy, sunny, etc.) is usually similar to what is happening in town, but it is usually about ten to fifteen degrees cooler. Occasionally the wind can also be stronger than in town.
