Maid of Honor
Alanna has been my built in best friend since literally day one. I am so incredibly lucky that I have had her beside me through everything major milestone in life! This includes things anywhere from starting school, to playing softball, to graduating high school, graduating college, and many more. Now I get to add her being right by my side as my Maid of Honor at my wedding to that list. I will never be able to thank Alanna enough for everything she has done for me.
Maid of Honor
Kylee has always been considered a little sister to me. I have loved watching her grow up into the beautiful young woman she is today. I'll never forget her throwing fits whenever she wanted to be included in Alanna and my shenanigans, to marathoning Harry Potter with me into the New Year. I am so lucky that I get to have Ky as my Maid of Honor on this special day and I cannot wait to see what happens next for her!
Bridesmaid
LAUR COUR!!! I have no words to describe how much she mean to me! She is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and I am so lucky that I get to have her as a part of my life. To think this friendship all started at dance because I forgot my pants and she let me wear/borrow hers. I don't think anybody will ever understand how much our sleepovers and crazy moments mean to me. She truly is my partner in crime and I am so glad we get to do this crazy thing called life together.
Bridesmaid
Kiana and I met in 6th grade before she transferred schools where we became super close super quick! We refer to each other as twins and honestly just have one conversation with the two of us and you’ll see why. I am super blessed that Kiana is in my life and I cannot wait to see what amazing adventure she goes on next. Make sure when you see her to wish her the best of luck at med school. I am extremely lucky that she chose to be my friend and I cannot wait to make many more memories with her
Bridesmaid
Alaina Nicole Stewart, the better half of BrAlaina, I am so lucky that she came into my life in 2014 at dance. Even though she would've loved me five years before that (inside joke). Everything from inside jokes, to constant sleepovers, to signing wrong lyrics to songs, and getting in a hot tub with no water, I will always cherish all of the life long memories we have made. I want to thank her for being my first best friend and loving me through whatever life threw at us. Love you forever Fish.
Bridesmaid
Aldyn is one of the most put together and hilarious people I have ever met. From family vacations, to quarantine game nights, and lets not forget Christmas Eve Just Dance tournaments (which she and I clearly look forward to the most), I am incredibly lucky that I am getting a sister like her. I want to thank her for constantly looking out for me, caring for me, and just all around making me feel welcome! I cannot wait to officially become family!
Bridesmaid
Abby Jo, where do I even start? Well maybe I should start when she came to my house so I could try on and buy her prom dresses.... for my prom that was two days later. Since she walked into my house, she has been nothing but loving and kind towards me. I am so lucky that she and Jake found each other and that I get to keep her as a sister forever since she's marrying him. I would not be the person I am today without her and what she has done for me. I love her and our get togethers more than she will ever know.
Bridesmaid
Katrina and I met in college when I transfered to La Roche Sophomore year, and I'm not going to lie, she scared me at first. However, I am so glad that didn't stop me from getting to know her and eventually become inseparable best friends with her. Between vacation in Ocean City and Squirrel Hill Shenanigan's, I wouldn't change a thing. I want to thank her for constantly believing in me, making me laugh, and just being who she is. i cannot wait to watch her thrive wherever life may take her!
Bridesmaid
Sarah, aka egg, I am very lucky to have someone like her in my life, even though we met later in life at La Roche. To think this all started because I wanted to tell her about my water jug (still think I terrified her by the way) BUT look what has blossomed out of that (inseparable best friends)! She constantly makes me laugh and constantly laughs at my jokes... which is awesome! The memories we have with each other will be cherished for forever. I cannot wait to see where our friendship takes us next and I cannot wait to see where life takes her.
Best Person
Fletcher and I (Cade) have been friends for around 20 years. Initially we met at daycare before we were even old enough for preschool and us two dorks were immediately attached at the hip. We have continued to be very close friends ever since. We have grown up with each other, learned from each other, and supported each other through some of the most difficult and awkward periods of our youth and early adulthood. Ive always felt like I can rely on Fletcher for anything I needed to talk about, help with, advice on, etc. One of the most genuine, supportive, and nicest people I've ever met, and just all-around a great person, I'm excited to have Fletch by my side for not only this special day but also throughout my life.
Best Man
Jake and I met though hockey when we played on the same team for the first time at age 8. Through the years, someone who I only saw during the winter months quickly became someone I saw most months out of the year and someone whos family became an extension of mine. We have continued to stay close even after our hockey careers have taken us in different directions (mine took me straight to the beer leagues), and there is no one better to answer random questions ranging from which president would win an Olympic decathlon to which NHL cup favorite is most in danger of being swept. Despite giving him a hard time every once and a while, I'm glad for some Stockholminan reason he's agreed to be a part of me and Brea's big day.
Groomsman
Andrew is a mutual friend of Brea and mine that I met during the summer of 2020. We hit it off and quickly became friends (the type of thing that happens when you were born on the same day) through many shared interests. Andrew always keeps people invested in and laughing at his stories and anecdotes. Andrew is a first-year medical school student and is a pretty smart guy (usually). In his (very limited) free time, Andrew likes slicing the ball around the golf course, and makes a great golf buddy. I'm happy I've been able to get to know Andrew and have him alongside me during our wedding.
Groomsman
Kole is another friend that I met through hockey. Through years and years of playing together, often times playing on the same line, we have grown to be very close. We were able to watch each other grow up from the age of around 8 or 9 until 18 and now to present day, and so Kole honestly feels more like a brother to me than anything else. He's is one of the most unintentionally hilarious people I know, but he's also one of the most fiercely loyal people I know as well. I know that there's nothing I couldn't count on him for which is why I can't wait to have him there on my big day.
Groomsman
Luke was the one Tota that I hadn't really met when Brea and I started dating. To me, he was just another little hockey boy that would run around the ice rink. Since getting closer to him and becoming a part of his family though, I've gotten the chance to watch him grow up, graduate high school, leave for college, navigate jobs, and more. I've loved being able to forge a brother-like relationship with him and love being able to help him out, hang out with him, give him (sometimes unsolicited) advice, etc. That's why I can't wait for him to officially be my new younger brother.
Groomsman
I guess since Jake is the reason we're here, I should probably start with, "Thanks Jake." Jake and I played hockey together on and off for years. The main reason I got close to the Tota family is because Jake and I got along so well right from the start. When I was smaller and younger than everyone, Jake would always protect me like a big brother. I think its fitting then, that now we really will be brothers. It's just a bonus that when I hang out with Brea's family that I get to hang out with someone I've know and liked being around for years.
Groomsman
Though this wedding won't make Jared one of my new brothers-in-law, he might as well be at this point. Jared seemed to just quietly appear in my life a few years back, without really making too much of a stir.....not. But while Jared is not one to shirk away from talking and making his presence evident, those same traits make him easy to talk to and get along with. And even though I can't help but mess with him a little bit sometimes, he's always a good sport and makes a welcome addition to our Poston crew and to our wedding party
Groomsman
Brandon is another person who though is technically not family (yet), for all intents and purposes he is just as much family as anybody else. Brandon is the boyfriend of one of the Maids of Honor, Alanna who is Brea's cousin so Brandon is at every family event and gathering and treats me just as a family member would and should. I know that I could always count on Brandon for anything that I need (including if something is on fire) and he would do whatever he could to help without even thinking twice or hesitating. That's why he is the ideal person to have by my side on my wedding day and I can't wait to have him there.
Ring Bearers
Aunt Brea - BOYS! When Landon was born my life was changed forever, and I instantly became a permanent cool aunt (even if they tell you otherwise). Then was blessed once again when Colton was born and I have had two built in buddies ever since. These two make everyday brighter and every smile bigger. I love them both more than they will ever know and cannot wait to have them as a part of our big day! Uncle Cade- Who would have thought that one day I would be this close to Jake Tota's children. I can't wait to become their uncle officially soon. I love hanging out with my little dudes and looking after them (or at least making sure they don't hurt themselves toooo bad). I can't wait to watch them grow up from little troublemakers into big troublemakers (just like their dad) and I love having them be a part of our special day.
Father of the Bride
Daniel Tota is 100 percent my twin, and I am forever grateful for the discipline, respect, love, and kindness that he has taught me to have. I am so thankful to have a role model and best friend all in one, and I will cherish our memories forever. From "forcing me into sports" (never forced me, just a joke I make), to him learning how to paint my nails and do my hair, to taking me to dance lessons and all of my doctors appointments, I wouldn't trade any of these moments for the world. Thank you for raising me and believing me, I truly will never be able to express how grateful I am for you.
Mother of the Bride
BJ Buonaiuto is the most caring, fun, and crazy person you could ever meet all wrapped into one cheetah print package. I am truly thankful for your endless support and constant love you have given me. From taking me to dance competitions, buying me large amounts of ice cream, watching me choreograph in our dining room (before it had a table in it), and showing me how to never back down, I am grateful for it all. Thank you for all that you have done for me, and all that you have done for Cade and I. Love you bunches.
Father of the Groom
Sometimes I look at my dad and I see myself in 30 years. But if that's the case then I think I'll turn out A-Okay. My dad has always been a great role model and someone I can look to to see how to be a good person and a good man. He's spent hours upon hours and days upon days driving me all over the country to pursue my passions and support me. Always a leader by example, a lot of who I am (and my killer jokes) come from watching the way he goes about his business day to day. And as I go forward through new stages of life, I don't forsee any of that changing.
Mother of the Groom
My mom has (obviously) been one of the biggest influences on who I am today. I feel grateful enough that I have always felt like I've had the resources to experiment with what I wanted to do throughout my life, but on top of that, I am grateful to have been able to learn the lessons that I have along the way from some great role models like my mom. Though our shared genetics sometimes cause some friction (apparently stubbornness is hereditary) I always have someone there to try to show me and teach me how to make decisions on my own and to support those choices, whatever they may be. And I'm happy that I also have a role model to look to for this next new stage of my life.
Step Mother of the Bride
Linda Lou!!! Thank you for coming into our family and loving us all unconditionally. I am so blessed that you came into my life to stay. You have done more for me than you will ever know and I am forever grateful for the life lessons and love you have given me. One thing I am most blessed to have gotten from you is my love for all things God, which has shaped me into the person I am today. Thank you for always being there for me... and picking on my dad with me! I love you so much!
Step Father of the Bride
Sal and I actually met at Heart Camp before he met my mom, and I will say i gave him a pretty wicked smiley face temporary tattoo. However, since you married my mother you have continued to show me nothing but love and kindness... even when you're angry. Thank you for the endless supply of memories and laughter, I am very lucky that you came into my life and chose to be a part of this crazy family. I love you a ton!
Mistress of Ceremony
Molly became my dance teacher in 2014 and quickly was one of the most influential people in my life. Throughout my journey with DE I made forever friends, learned forever lessons, and have become forever grateful for everything Molly has done for me. Now in 2022, I am working under her at Molly Dies Dance Unlimited and am enjoying every second of it! So thank you Molly for your never ending love and for always believing in me! ALSO CONGRATULATIONS ON BECOMING MRS. GEER!
Master of Ceremony
James, better known as J.R. Geer came into my life through Molly Dies in 2016 and has been a great addition to both the team and my life ever since! His never-ending support for both myself, my relationship, and overall dance is very apparent, and I am very thankful to have him! ALSO fun fact, he was born and raised in Clarendon and knows several of our wedding guests! So he fits right in, and CONGRATULATIONS TO JAMES AS WELL FOR GETTING MARRIED TO MOLLY!
