It all started 8 years ago...

Cab and I met in broadcasting class in high school. I walked up to Cab that first day and asked if he wanted to team up and he said he already had a partner and pointed to the guy next to him but they both agreed I could tag along. Me and cab quickly became good friends, he made me laugh to the point I snorted and it wasn’t long before I developed a crush on him. But I was too scared to tell him and ruin our friendship until finally one day we hung out outside of school for the first time with some friends and afterwards cab told me some words I will never forget. While I was talking about how I’d been single for a long time now because every boy didn’t treat me right and you get to a point you start thinking you aren’t good enough for anybody (ladies we’ve all felt this way at some point), he said “you’re more than enough for me”. And on March 3rd, 2012 we started dating. Afterwards I graduated high school and cab joined army national guard and through the last seven years cab went to basic and AIT where we could only write letters to each other, then after that he would leave for 2 weeks every the summer and every hurricane and now he’s set to deploy in October. You can probably guess how I feel about that, but I have to be strong even if I don’t feel very strong, to continue support him and be his “cheerleader”. I’m taking it day by day. Which currently, we both also work full time jobs, and cab goes to school. We live together in an apartment with our 2 beautiful and loving children, a cat that if you look at her wrong she will scratch you named Felicia, and a husky who gets the zoomies every five seconds and doesn’t like to cuddle named Miska. I’m excited for our future. I can’t wait to marry my best friend, for him to come home, us buy a house and to have actual children and to get to tell them that high school sweethearts do still exist and so does writing love letters.

For all the days along the way
