San Pedro

San Pedro

San Pedro, Belize

San Pedro is "La Isla Bonita" that Madonna made famous. Now it's a tourist mecca, but still boasts great beaches and plenty of dive shops so you can enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. Plan a side trip to Caye Caulker while you're here. We recommend renting a golf cart to explore San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. The average price of renting a golf cart rental in San Pedro Belize for 4 to 8 hours is about $25USD, if you wish to keep the cart for 24 hours it is about $40USD.

Caye Caulker

Caye Caulker

Caye Caulker is less developed and more laid back, in comparison to San Pedro, and has its own splendid swimming areas. On Caye Caulker, life moves "slow". No one is in a rush. There are no roads, and you drive around in golf carts. This is Bree's happy place! There are no cars on the island. Most guests who stay further south of the main village rent bikes for the duration of their stay. Bike rentals are available for about $7.50USD per day or $30USD per week. Golf cart rentals are available for $80-$150 US per day. For the most part Caye Caulker is small and walking is possible all over the place. Check out Caye Caulker's "Split", named for the channel that divides the island in two. The Split is the local hangout for travelers and locals. The calm, shallow waters make for a perfect spot to cool off, and the Lazy Lizard serves up bar food and some strong drinks, including the "lizard juice" - We dare you to try!
