Answer
Please let us know if you’ll be joining us no later than May 15th. If we don’t hear a yes by then and you still show up… you’ll need to bring your own chair and a sandwich. 😉 We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

WHAT DO I WEAR?
Answer
Dress Code: Semi-Formal Attire Requested Our dress code is semi-formal. A suit is not required, but jeans are not allowed. When in doubt, err on the side of dressing slightly more formal. It's always better to be a little overdressed than underdressed at a wedding! - Ladies: Please avoid wearing white or any shades of white. - Gentlemen: Khaki pants are okay. - Everyone: No jeans or shorts, please. Thank you for helping us create a stylish and cohesive look for our special day!

Am I invited to the ceremony?
Answer
We’re having a smaller, more intimate ceremony. If you received a ceremony card with your mailed invitation, you’re invited to join us for this special moment. If you’re attending the ceremony, please arrive on time—give yourself plenty of time to park and be seated. Viv has waited 8 years for this day… she won’t be waiting on anyone! 😉 If you’re joining us for the reception only, cocktail hour begins at 4:00 PM. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
Answer
We love kids - our daughter is our whole world! That said, we're only able to accommodate children of our close family and friends. If your invitation is addressed to "and family," your kids are absolutely welcome and will be listed on the RSVP. We ask that you keep a close eye on your children as our venue is near a pond and the interstate. We completely understand if your little ones are invited but you choose to enjoy a date night instead - no pressure at all! Also, later in the evening, the music and atmosphere may become more adult-oriented. Depending on your comfort level, this might be a good time for kiddos (and even grandparents!) to head home.

We’ve reserved a block of 25 rooms at a motel within walking distance of our venue, The Gathering Barn. Crest Country Inn 340 220th St Williamsburg, IA 52361 To book, you MUST call: (319) 668-1522 Ask to reserve a room under Vivian and Colton’s wedding block. IMPORTANT: If you try to book online, it will show no availability - you must call to access our reserved block. Rooms will be held until June 27th, 2026, or until they’re gone! ⸻ Other Nearby Options: If the Crest Country Inn is full, here are additional accommodations: 8 minutes from venue AmericInn by Wyndham Williamsburg 2185 U Ave Williamsburg, IA 52361 20 minutes from venue Hotels in Coralville, IA – plenty of options available!
