Best Man
Adam and I have had a different relationship than most siblings as we only lived together for a short duration of our childhood. No matter what direction life has taken us, we have always made sure to keep in touch even if it means traveling half-way around the world together. I haven’t had many close people in my life, but I’m glad to call Adam my best man and more importantly my brother.
Person of Honor
I met Matt during my freshman year at VCU after looking for a tutor for a statistics class. Turns out we both had the exact same major/concentrations which allowed our friendship to grow as we continued taking classes together. Although our paths after college took us to opposite ends of the country, we have remained insanely close! Our friendship is one I hold near and dear to my heart.
Groomsman
Joe and I met our freshman year of college and was the reason I discovered my love for Rugby. Joe helped me through some of my toughest times while in school. We ended up as roommates in college where we created many wild memories and made a lot of great friends. Joe later became roommates with Caitlin and I in Hampton for a few years where his handiness helped around the house and chef skills created many memorable "family" dinners. I’m very grateful to call him a friend.
Bridesmaid
Catie and I met towards the latter part of our freshman year at VCU. In addition to becoming close friends, we were roommates for a few years during and after college. Our friendship blossomed from our love for Mexican food (& hot sauce!). I am so thankful to have someone like her in my life to 'grow up' with as we took on the real world after college. I also have Catie to thank for helping me connect with the love of my life, Austin.
Groomsman
My friendship with Martin came in my later years of college during one summer I will surely never forget. We must have hung out every single day even while I was working 2 jobs and in school. Martin is responsible for some of the most entertaining and enjoyable years of my life. From both of our passions for playing rugby, to watching sports, and consuming several beverages, I could always count on Martin to hang out whenever the occasion presented itself, even on my last night living in Richmond (BROTHERRRR).
Bridesmaid
Inge and I met during our freshman year and were also roomies during our senior year at VCU. Some of my favorite memories include our Thursday nights out on the town in RVA and OBX vacations together. She is one of the most outgoing and fun people I know! I am so excited to have her apart of our special day.
Groomsman
The first time I met Clay I had just gotten home from work and I walked into my apartment which was full of random people Joe had invited over. Turns out they were a bunch of new guys from the VCU rugby team. Many might guess Clay stood out for his freakishly good looks (or being 6’9” tall) but, he and I had a special bond from our first encounter. Clay ended up becoming a little brother to me and one of my closest friends at VCU where we created countless memories with each other.
Bridesmaid
Claire is my "little sister." We grew up riding & showing horses together for over a decade. When Claire was younger, I took her under my wing as my protégé and the rest was history. We've been through a lot together- from travel buddies/horse show roomies, to sushi dates, a Justin Bieber concert & everything in between. I'm so grateful for our relationship and all the horse show memories we have from over the years!
