I wish I could say we have one of those romantic stories. The kind that make others swoon but this is our love story. We met like millions of other people...match.com. I gave Jason a run for his money when meeting me. We talked on the phone, texted, the usual conversation between anyone meeting on those sites. He asked me out many times but was always busy but honestly it was more nerves than anything. One day I caved. I told him he has 5 minutes in a Wendy's parking lot to come meet me. I will never forget pulling up. He was so handsome. I shook his hand and I felt an instant connection. Time was up and rushed off to pick up Landon and go to Cross Fit. After that meeting we went on several lunch dates. It felt natural. (Yes, lunch dates!) During this time of getting to know Jason, I was up for a huge job promotion that would bring be home to Raleigh. Well....I got it. I remember telling Jason on the phone that night and saying, "Well it was nice getting to know you. I'm moving to Raleigh." You could tell in his voice he was shocked and didn't want me to go. Then next day he told me he had an opportunity in Raleigh and he could take it. It made me nervous but somehow I always knew he was the one. I moved to Raleigh in August 2015 and he followed a month later. He took a chance on me and knew he couldn't let our relationship end in Charleston. In December 2018, he proposed and it was one of the happiest moments of my life. Becoming his wife is something I have wanted for so long. I knew he was my person-and I found that in him. September 21st we will make it official and become Mr. and Mrs. Jason Robinson and we couldn't be happier.
