We Tied the Knot... Come and Celebrate with us

Jacque' and Byron met at Buffalo Traditional where they attended high school. Jacque was a cheerleader and Byron played basketball. Typical high school sweetheart love story right? No. They didn't even hang out with each other, and hardly spoke to each other, it would only be in passing. Fast forward to 2013, there were 1.6 billion user on social media and Jacque had just became one of them. While going through Facebook she came across Byron and decided to reach out. They stayed in contact for a couple months and that led to Byron asking if he could see her and if they could hang out. Jacque says she did not take him serious even when they hung out, but eventually they started dating. In October of 2014 they welcomed Niyla together, to add to their family already including Oni and Aaron. May of 2016, they bought their first home together and the rest is history!

Jacque and Byron had been dating for 6 years, and they both agreed they were ready to take their relationship to the next level. Jacque kept picking up on hints from everyone that he was possibly going to propose and figured it would be October 22, on her birthday. But that day came and went in the blink of an eye. Byron wanted to ensure it was at the right place and the right time, and decided he was going to propose on his birthday but turns out they were both wrong. On the morning of December 25th neither one of them knew the proposal would happen that day but, Byron decided this was the perfect time. Upon their arrival of the annual Christmas Breakfast Byron called his mom to come over and bring the ring with her. Both Jacque and Byron sitting on the couch, Byron stood up and got on one knee in front of family and friends; and of course she said “YES!”
