Lauren and Brittany initially met on a Facebook page for incoming students to Virginia Tech in the Spring of 2011, prior to starting their freshman year that fall. Lauren and Brittany ended up being roommates for their Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years of college, and both moved to Richmond, Virginia about a block away from each other following graduation. Lauren and Brittany were brought together through their love of Virginia Tech, Friends TV show, margaritas and Mexican food. Lauren has been a constant friend through many highs and lows of college and life after, and Brittany is so thankful to have her by her side as her maid of honor on her big day!
Kyle Rydell
Best Man
Kyle and Byron have been friends since they were neighbors at around 6 or 7 years old. They used to enjoy skateboarding, now they enjoy hiking and camping. Even though distance separates them now, as Kyle lives in North Dakota, their friendship is still as strong as ever. Byron is glad to have Kyle stand beside him as his best man on his big day!
Chelsea Snow

Chelsea and Brittany have been friends since elementary school. From bus rides to school everyday, 10 years of soccer games together as the best sweeper-keeper team, and many sleepovers, Chelsea and Brittany have made so many memories together. Brittany was able to stand beside Chelsea on her wedding day and Brittany is now the Godmother to Chelsea's 3 wonderful children. Brittany is so happy to now have Chelsea by her side on her big day.
Haden Escott

Haden and Byron also grew up as neighbors. They used to love riding bikes together, but their love of playing video games together has just grown stronger over the years. Byron is glad to have Haden stand beside him on his big day.

Bridgette and Brittany have been friends since elementary school. Their friendship blossomed when they played softball together from 5th-7th grade and Brittany would spend many days/nights at Bridgette's house prior to and after games and throughout the summers. Bridgette has been an unwavering friend to Brittany through many life changes and they can always pick up exactly where they left off. Brittany is so happy to have Bridgette by her side on her big day.
Aaron Ray

Aaron and Byron are cousins and grew up enjoying shooting guns and working on cars together. As they have grown older and into families of their own, they know they can always count on each other whenever the need arises. Byron is thankful to have Aaron stand beside him on his big day!
Lara Howery

Lara and Brittany became friends when their elementary schools merged when starting high school in 2007. They played basketball together, rode the bus together to school each day, and created a friendship that bridged the gap between Brittany's young, hyper self and Lara's sassy, confident self. Lara and Brittany were roommates freshman year at Virginia Tech, and although their friendship had its ups and downs throughout high school and college, they always knew they had each other's back no matter what. Brittany was able to watch Lara marry the love of her life earlier this year and she is so happy to have Lara by her side on her big day.

Bobby and Byron became friends at Smoky Mountain Christian Camp, initially was campers and then later as staff members. They enjoy playing video games and hiking together. Byron served as an usher in Bobby’s wedding and he is so glad to have Bobby stand beside him on his big day.
Cordelia Martin

Cordelia is Brittany's baby sister. Brittany was 12, almost 13, when Cordelia was born. Brittany and Cordelia have grown into their friendship over the years. Although their likes differ, they always enjoy spending time together. Brittany is so happy to have Cordelia by her side on her big day.
Levi Braziel

Levi and Byron became friends while they were campers at Smoky Mountain Christian Camp, and later both became staff members. They enjoy outdoor, adventurous activities together, like rafting, hiking, and cliff jumping. Byron is glad to have Levi stand by him on his big day!
Alex Barr

Alex and Brittany became friends during their freshman year at Virginia Tech in biology lab. They remained friends throughout college and after, and were even roommates for some brief periods of time as well. Brittany has always been able to turn to Alex for a truthful, loving perspective on any life challenges and can always rely on Alex's unwavering friendship. Brittany will stand beside Alex in May 2021 as she marries the love of her life and Brittany is so happy to have Alex beside her on her big day.

Dalton and Byron became friends while Byron was a staff member at Smoky Mountain Christian Camp and Dalton was a camper. They both share a love for rock climbing and bouldering. Byron is glad to have Dalton stand beside him on his big day!
Kaley Duncan

Kaley and Brittany became friends while attending Virginia Tech. They initially met while serving in their Honors and Leadership Organization, Sigma Alpha Lambda, during The Big Event at Virginia Tech. Kaley, Lauren, and Brittany bonded during their time with this organization and grew a deeper friendship over the years. Kaley also moved to Richmond, Virginia following graduation which allowed the girls to maintain their friendship following college. Kaley is a hilarious, honest, authentic friend and Brittany is so happy to have Kaley by her side on her big day.

Jacob and Byron became friends while at Smoky Mountain Christian Camp. They became friends through their love for adrenaline-fueled activities, fitness and Lord of the Rings. Byron is glad to have Jacob by his side on his big day.

Hannah and Brittany became friends during their freshman year at Virginia Tech. Brittany and Hannah have shared many memories together, including Hokie football games, downtown Blacksburg events, concerts, and many more. Hannah is such a sweet and consistent friend and Brittany is so thankful to have Hannah present on her big day!
Meg Brettelle

Meg and Brittany became friends during Occupational Therapy school at Emory & Henry College in 2016. Meg is a hilarious, wonderful friend and she and Brittany share their love for margaritas and bad jokes. Brittany was able to stand by Meg as she married her soulmate in 2019 and Brittany is so happy to have Meg present on her big day!
