Byron literally had Andrea at hello! The couple met through modern technology, Byron sent Andrea a message that read "How about we have a phone conversation and skip the awkward messaging" Anyone who knows Andrea, knows that she can talk on the phone for hours, and would prefer talking over texting any day. They communicated for a couple of months before going on their first date! Andrea and Byron had their first date on November 25, 2019. When Byron asked Andrea to dance with him in the middle of Pappadeauxs, she knew he would be the man she would marry!

Byron mentioned wanting to have dinner on the Friday of the proposal. Which wasn't unusual with him being a foodie! I was anticipating a proposal possibly and asked if he had anything up his sleeve. (Considering Ariah had already told me Byron purchased a ring, and asked why I wasn't wearing it.) His reply was no, he just wanted to take his family out to dinner. We arrived at the restaurant, finished eating, and Ariah begins to feel bad. I ask for the check, and Byron asks for the dessert menu. Which struck me as very odd, because Byron doesn't really care for sweets. We decide on a dessert, and Byron goes to the restroom (for the 10th time)! He comes back down the stairs, asks Ariah to come to him, (she was on my lap) and I then see the waiter coming down the stairs with a photographer behind him. The waiter places the dessert on the table and it reads "Will You Marry Me." When I looked away from the plate, I see Byron on one knee in front of me. He says "You're amazing, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" Of course, I said YES!!!! As I was basking in this joyous occasion, Byron tells me to turn around and there were our families ready to congratulate us. It was such a beautiful moment, and we are beyond thrilled to share our special day with family and friends!
