Being born at opposite ends of the country couldn’t keep Payton, the Alaskan, and Emma, the Long Islander, from finding one another. It happened by chance at a place called Bar Alaska in the Lower East Side, where Payton was hired as a bartender due to the fact that his license plate hailed from The 49th State. Emma had gotten a job there shortly before as a cocktail waitress for money as she was finishing her degree. As soon as they started working together, Payton knew he wanted to be with her. His many attempts at flirting eventually paid off, as Emma finally agreed to go out after work one day to a bar called Night Cap. From there, they would spend their evenings drinking 40s of Steele Reserve while watching movies like Kill Bill and other favorites, and slowly falling in love. From this, to their many trips, holidays, and days out in New York spent together, they are so excited to share this celebration of forever together with you and everyone they love.
