We first met in middle school, circa 1998, and became best friends. Secretly, we both had a crush on one another but didn't have the guts to say anything. Unfortunately when we got to high school we lost touch. 18 years pass us by and a mutual friends passing brought us together again. We hit it off immediately and met up for the first time at Hudson, NY's beautiful Historic House, Olana. We knew that day that we had an undeniable connection and the rest is history.

On a beautiful August weekend we decided to spend the weekend in Hudson, NY. We traveled back to the historic house, Olana, where we first met and spent an unforgettable day together. We toured the home and walked around the grounds to an amazing spot that overlooks the Hudson River, the same spot we sat and reconnected for hours. Stephen had me read a beautiful story he wrote about our relationship, when I finished reading I looked up to see him down on one knee. I cried out "YES!" and we were engaged!
