This was one of the first places Tessa took John in the Netherlands to give him an overview of the whole country in miniature. There's more to see than just Amsterdam! Den Haag is also a lovely city to wander and have a bite or drink on a terrace.
A ticket to the museum also lets you visit the Portuguese Synagogue, the largest synagogue in the world when it was built during the 17th century.
There are some privateers buried inside this church along with the inventor of the microscope, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek. Admission also lets you visit the Nieuwe Kerk in the city center.
This is where we took the picture of us together in a big klomp (wooden clog). A recreation of a historic Dutch village with windmills and cute architecture.
