The (Not So) Short Story: They met on OKCupid, an online dating site before “apps” were popular ;) With help from her Mom, Nicole made a profile and went "shopping for guys." Taylor immediately caught her attention. The first line of his dating profile made her laugh, he wrote in full sentences, used proper punctuation, and was super cute! Of course, Mom told her to message Taylor, but Nicole thought he was too cute for her and was worried he wouldn't respond. After some pushing from Mom, Nicole messaged him and within a day they started talking. About a week of online messaging, trickled into texting. Eventually Nicole got up the courage to call Taylor after work one day and asked if he wanted to go to dinner. He did. He even offered to pick her up! That evening when they met up, they found out they lived only 10 minutes away from each other. Super convenient. They went to dinner (a Mexican restaurant near by), and immediately hit it off. So much so, they stayed until the restaurant closed (the staff basically kicked them out). The love Byrds (hehe) went for frozen yogurt after, continued talking and didn't stop until past 1AM. It wasn't until the parking lot around them was nearly empty that they noticed what time it was. Taylor was worried he would make a bad first impression with Nicole's Mom, bringing her home so late. He asked if he could meet Mom next time to make sure she didn’t get the wrong impression (that was pretty much when Nicole knew he was 100% a keeper). The second date later that week Nicole met Taylor's Dad. Taylor met Nicole's Mom after that on date three. And... the rest is history! Countless adventures, laughs, and incredibly derpy moments… These two are happy to have found each other, and even happier you all are willing to spend the day celebrating this special day with them.
