FAQs

Question

Is there a gifts registry?

Answer

Yes! Your presence at our wedding is a gift in itself, but if you feel inclined to give more, please contribute to our registry located on our wedding website. We are also registered at Williams-Sonoma, and Target!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking for the ceremony at the front of Summerall Chapel, and the reception has a parking lot at the front of it! Parking in Charleston is not the most ideal- but with the reception being in front of The Market, there should definitely be parking available!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Traffic can be heavy in Charleston, so please leave with an adequate amount of time to arrive to the Chapel. Guests can begin to arrive at 11:30 a.m., but please arrive no later than 11:55 a.m. in order for the ceremony to start promptly at 12 p.m.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony as well as the reception are both indoors! However, while they are indoor, please keep in mind that the event is in December. Dress warmly!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love to see our family and friends to be dressed up with us! We are requesting all guests to wear cocktail attire/sunday best! Please no jeans or informal clothing.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We unfortunately can not accommodate any additional guests. We can only allow those that are named on the invitation!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we immensely love your little ones, we have decided to keep the ceremony and reception to an adults-only event. We hope that you understand, and please message us if you shall have any questions.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, so no cameras or videos! We kindly request that throughout the remainder of the ceremony for guests to turn off/silence their phones. There will be a professional photographer capturing any pictures that we shall need! After the ceremony is over, feel free to take any pictures that you shall like.
