SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE
We met and played together as children and didn't see each other again until we were re-introduced about 30 years later. After a few Instagram messages, we went on our first date on March 29, 2024. We ate pizza and talked for a few hours, and we haven't stopped talking since then.
On March 1, 2025, we went to a restaurant in downtown Kennesaw to watch an Alabama basketball game. Chris was planning to propose on the walk over in a spot that's special to us in Depot Park, but other people were in the way. We watched the whole game with the ring burning a hole in Chris's pocket.
Alabama lost on a last-minute shot, and Lauren stormed out of the restaurant. Chris proposed on the walk back. Lauren accused him of joking, but accepted in the end.
