Our story began in 2021 when Ryan first reached out and sent Courtney a message over SnapChat. The next day, Courtney got appendicitis and was admitted to the hospital Ryan worked at, and the rest was history... We quickly became best friends, hanging out on our days off eating mozzarella sticks and building Legos. A few months later, we moved in together and soon began filling our home with animals of all shapes and sizes. From day one, we have been each other's biggest supporters as we navigate career changes, college courses, new hobbies, and many dislocated knee caps!

We took a trip to Mackinac Island together, and on our first day we made our way to the Grand Hotel. When walking the grounds, we came across the Secret Garden. As we posed on the bridge for a picture, Ryan turned and popped the question. Courtney instantly said yes, of course, and we spent the rest of our trip celebrating our engagement together. Easily the best birthday gift Courtney could have asked for!
