If your invitation is addressed to you "and guest," then yes!
Yes! Your invitation will specify "and family." A kids meal will be available for those under 10 years old, and their alcohol consumption will be limited to lite beer.
While we will not require mask wearing or proof of vaccine to attend our event, we request that you take this opportunity to demonstrate Christian love for your neighbor.
Semi-formal, please! (suits and cocktail dresses). Please keep in mind that the ceremony is in a church.
The service will be about 45 minutes long. Please refrain from using your cell phone in the church. We encourage you to sing, pray, and fully take part in celebrating our union before God and our community.
We are asking guests to please not take pictures during our ceremony. We want you to be present and enjoy the moment! The link to our professional photo album will be posted approximately 6 weeks after our wedding, so check back then!
St. John's has a large parking lot on the north side of Montrose, right across the street from the church. Colletti's is a 7 minute drive from St. John's and has a medium sized parking lot and an overflow parking lot nearby, in addition to street parking in the neighborhood. To reach the overflow lot, take a left out of the Colletti's parking lot, and then immediately take another left onto the side street Armstrong. The lot is for Sports Awards and will have a Colletti's sign on the fence. Traffic on the Northwest Side of Chicago can get moderately heavy. If you're not sure that you want to drive yourself, check the Travel tab for other options.
The event is going to be fully indoors in temperature-controlled conditions, so this question is for those who are coming to Chicago for a longer visit or plan to do outside activities. The high temperature for late April averages about 58 degrees Fahrenheit and the sky is overcast or mostly cloudy about half the time.
