Question

I won't be able to celebrate with you in person. Will you be livestreaming the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We have booked professional livestreaming services that will livestream our ceremony and some of the beginning toasts and such of the reception. You can find the livestream on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/buyonegetonefreesen/ and you don't need a Facebook account to access the livestream! We hope to be able to celebrate virtually with those who won't be with us in person.

What does "Cocktail-style Reception" mean?

Answer

We are hosting a cocktail-style reception to better meet the comfort and needs to allow for the best social distancing atmosphere we can. What this means is that after the ceremony, instead of heading to a cocktail hour and a formal dinner service, you will head into more of an "extended cocktail hour" instead. There will be a buffet of heavy hor d'oeuvres (there will be plenty of food -- trust us!), cocktails, and a more casual flow to the evening.

I noticed it says "Adults only please" on the invitations. Does that mean I can't bring my child?

Answer

Unfortunately, yes. While we originally planned to include our friends, families, and their respective children in our big day, due to COVID-19 guest limitations and social distancing guidelines, we had to make the decision to make our event adults only. Thank you for understanding and please reach out to us if you need to.

It says that there is only 1 seat reserved for me. Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

Just like with the children, due to COVID guest restrictions and guidelines, we unfortunately can't offer plus-ones for our guests. If you would like to discuss this with us, please send either of us a message!

Please RSVP by April 30, 2021.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are encouraging our guests to dress in a cocktail party style/semi-formal. Please, no jeans or streetwear. We are looking our best for you and hope you will do the same!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered right here on Zola. We are primarily hoping for funds for our honeymoon (fingers crossed that we get to take it this year!), if you are willing to contribute to that. If not, we have listed a few household items, as well.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Since it is a buffet with a variety of options, we are hoping that there is something for everyone. But please reach out to us to let us know if there are any special dietary requests that we may not have originally been able to accommodate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking available at the botanical gardens.
