Tillamook Creamery
Tour the factory where Tillamook's delicious cheese, ice cream, and other dairy products are made. Beautiful facility with delicious food and very entertaining to watch the factory in action. It is also nearby to some lovely beaches, one which boasts a cave tunnel through the rocks.
Vista House at Crown Point
You cannot beat the views of the columbia river gorge from Vista House. A short drive from Gresham, and a must-see if visiting the gorge for the first time.
McMenamins Kennedy School Theater
Super fun and quirky location to watch second run movies. The seating is couches- food can be served to your seat. We recommend the pretzel sticks and fondue.
Bonneville Fish Hatchery
This hatchery is near the Bonneville Dam, so it's easy to visit both in one stop. Free admission, lots of fishies, pretty views of the gorge. Make sure to stop and meet Herman, the very huge, very old Sturgeon.
OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry)
A fun stop for science lovers or for anyone with kids. This museum features hands on exhibits for all ages, play areas, a really big submarine to tour, and IMAX movies.
Powell's City of Books
The most amazingly large, color coded, new and used book store. You could spend hours here!
