Maid of Honor
Alyssa (Lassy) and I met Freshman year at U of A 13 years ago by rushing the same sorority. Our friendship would be described as making our stomachs hurt from laughing so much - she is my goofy other half.
Best Man
Tyler has always been like a brother to me. Only 14 months apart, we grew up embodying the "overly competitive brothers" stereotype. Although Tyler typically found himself on the wrong side of our 1v1 battles, I take pride in how few of scraps we've had over the years. He was born with a short fuse, but I am very lucky to share all the same interests as my big brother and get to have a blast every time I see him. He's the guy you want in your corner.
Matron of Honor
Kristina (Rist) and I met Freshman year at U of A and lived together during, and after, college. She is my voice of reason and has helped teach me how to be the best version of myself - lucky for Jake.
Best Man
As the youngest brother, Sam has always viewed me as a secondary father figure. It's a responsibility I honored to taking on. During his younger years, my methods for teaching Sam about life typically involved physical disciplinary action. I decided as he got older that it was best to switch to a more verbal strategy (nothing to do with his 6'3" growth spurt). Sam is the life of the party who makes everyone laugh and LOVES to dance. *WARNING* The music moves through him & he has no control over how his body moves or reacts, so if you find him on the dance floor, make sure to give yourself a 5-6 foot buffer.
Bridesmaid
Mariana is my go-to friend for cozy Sunday movie days. I met her through our gym about 5 years ago but have growed extremely close to in the last few years.
Groomsman
John and I met each other Freshman year rushing Fiji at U of A together. We lived in the same dorm and he quickly became my best friend and roommate. Although John is much shorter than I, we were known as the "twins" as pledges in the fraternity. John always has a smile on his face and is one of those guys that will do anything for you, no questions asked.
Bridesmaid
Ashley is my cousin, but I would consider her more like a sister. Our moms are sisters and best friends, so the four of us are as close as it gets.
Groomsman
Will and I became friends during our second semester of college. Being a Texan, he assumed we'd have hunting in common given my Idaho upbringing. He was disappointed. Will is not scared to have an ice-cold pint at a drop of a hat, so luckily we found common ground another way. We were roommates while studying abroad in Barcelona and continued to be roommates for almost all of my 20's. We have a 30-year mortgage commitment together, the second longest commitment I'll have in life with someone behind Cassie (eternity).
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I met after college in Scottsdale. Sarah is the planner, the caller, and the life of the party. When you are with Sarah, you know you are going to have a good time.
Groomsman
I met Brad a few months into Freshman year since he lived two doors down from John. I had never met anyone like him before. Brad had my stomach hurting within an hour of meeting him and is one of the funniest people I know. We lived together Senior year and when he moved to LA straight after college, there was almost a daily phone call with today's life update. Brad is the type of guy you call first when you are going through a tough time and always there to help you through it.
Bridesmaid
I met Casey after college in our run-down post college apartments. We combined our friend groups very early on but Casey is someone that I grew close to and stayed close to.
Groomsman
More of a financial advisor than a friend, Stamey was in my Fiji pledge class and we both majored in Finance. I knew he was a stand-up guy each time he rejected my request to "check out" his homework and refused to give up insight for the exam he had taken 4 hours before I was scheduled to. Stamey does whatever it takes to make sure everyone has a great time and is one of the most generous people I know.
Bridesmaid
I met Kyra a few years ago in Scottsdale, but have grown so close to her in that time. Kyra is my go-to for weekend dinner and drinks dates.
Groomsman
Konch was high school buddies with John and we quickly became friends Freshman year. When I first met Konch, he said he was an "Ice Cat"(hockey player) at UofA which I thought was pretty cool. However, we still can't find any record of him on the team. To this day, he sticks to the story that he played college hockey, so please ask him about this and send me any evidence you can dig up. Konch is now a big-city guy living in NYC, but always makes the time and effort to come on trips across the country. No matter how long it has been, you always pick up right where you left off with Konch.
Bridesmaid
Tayler is my sister-in-law but she has also become a good friend of mine. Not only is Tayler a perfect fit for our family, but she is someone I talk to every day.
Groomsman
Cory is my soon to be brother-in-law and I couldn't be luckier to call him a brother. My parents did an amazing job raising me, but they did not raise a diverse handyman. Cory (not sure he knows it yet) is going to change that. I can already go to Cory for questions in life and look forward to the fun times ahead.
Bridesmaid
Alex and I have known each other the longest. Her family moved next door to ours in 2nd grade and we have been best friends since. We used to wear matching outfits for the first day of school.
