Boxcar Bar + Arcade
Boxcar was voted one of the best bars in Raleigh! Such a fun place to go.. you can eat, drink, play, and listen to live music. A good time for all ages! :)
Morgan Street Food Hall
This is one of our favorites that we try to take our friends and family to every time they visit! This is a massive food hall where you can try different foods and drinks from various vendors while sitting outside and enjoying downtown Raleigh. There is something here for everyone!
Mulino Italian Kitchen & Bar
This was one of the first places we went to once we moved to North Carolina. If you love pizza, pasta, or wine this place is for you! :)
North Carolina State Farmers Public Market
This is another one of our favorites! All local produce, plants, crafts, etc. sold by local farmers and vendors. There is a ton to explore and a variety of food and flavors.
The Raleigh Rose Garden
This is the beautiful rose garden where we got engaged! :) This is a great outdoor experience and so much fun to explore.
Tin Roof
This is a super fun place to go and relax on the rooftop and enjoy the beautiful views of downtown Raleigh! They have live music and delicious food/drinks.
Whiskey Kitchen
This is where we went to celebrate after our engagement! They have great southern food and even better whiskey and craft cocktails. It's a very fun and we would definitely recommend this place to go grab dinner and drinks!
William B. Umstead State Park
This is one of our favorite places to hike! There are so many trails and lakes to explore. It's a beautiful getaway especially in the fall with all the changing colors! :)
Downtown Cary Park
This awesome park has everything you could need.. a market, a bar, dog park, games, loungers, hammocks, live music, walking trails, and beautiful gardens.
Esteamed Coffee
We were recommended to visit this place and it did not disappoint! Esteamed Coffee is a non-profit cafe that employs individuals with disabilities. The atmosphere here is so welcoming and the service is wonderful :)
Fenton
Fenton is a HUGE area of boutiques, shops, restaurants and endless entertainment. One of our favorites is the AVA Rooftop Bar and the PBR Cowboy Bar where you can line dance or ride a bull if you are feeling adventurous!
Frida's Patio Modern Mexican Cuisine
If you love tacos and margaritas this is the place to visit! Frida's has elevated Mexican food with lovely outdoor seating. We recommend the margarita tower! :)
Hemlock Bluffs Nature Preserve
This is for all our nature lovers! This is a great hike with beautiful views.. especially during the fall.
