Hotel
We held a limited number of rooms for guests to book at a discounted rate -- $179 a night, plus tax, for Friday and Saturday. You can book at the button below, or call and mention the Butina/Bauer Wedding Group. Rooms must be booked by 10/7/2024 to receive the discount. The hotel is 1 mile from the ceremony venue and .5 miles from the reception venue, so you will be close to both locations! If you're planning to celebrate hard, guests are welcome to drive to the ceremony, drive back to the hotel to park, then walk to the reception venue. The .5 miles are on a flat, brick road that takes about 15 minutes to trek by foot. We ask you use caution if choosing to do so, especially after the reception!
Flight
The Columbus airport is about 1.25 hours away from Athens.
Travel Note
If you're flying in and prefer not to rent a car, the GoBus is an Ohio-based busing company that makes frequent trips from the Columbus airport to Athens. It is safe, clean, and inexpensive!
