On July 4th, 2023, sparks flew—mostly from the grill, but also a little between us. We met over cheesesteaks and wine in JP (William's brother & Best Man) and Sasha’s backyard, thanks to the matchmaking instincts of the one and only Jessica Long (who realized JP had a single brother and made sure Morgan did too). There was an instant spark, a good vibe, and then… a brief intermission. William was focused on his health journey, and Morgan went back to life as usual—until October 21, when William slid into Morgan’s Instagram DMs with a casual invite for a glass of wine. Morgan was heading to Austin for work that week, so they kept chatting, swapping stories and travel tips—especially since William had just moved back from there himself. Then William mentioned he’d be back in town Monday, and the offer still stood. So on October 23, after a very important nail appointment, Morgan showed up at Belvedere for what was supposed to be a quick drink. It wasn’t. Hours passed, laughter flowed, and something just clicked. After that night, everything changed. From there, things moved fast—families met, calendars merged, and weekends turned into “ours.” But real life showed up too. We faced some challenges early on, the kind that could shake any new relationship—but instead, we held each other up. We learned to lean in, to show up, and to love each other not just in the fun moments, but in the hard ones too. Now, here we are—grateful, blessed, and deeply in love.
