We are so grateful you’re considering traveling to Italy to celebrate with us! Our wedding will take place in Syracuse, Sicily, a charming, walkable island known for its history, food, and coastal views.
The closest airport is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), about 1 hour from Syracuse. Most international flights connect through Rome or Milan. From the airport, you can rent a car, take a taxi/private transfer, or travel by train or bus to Siracusa, followed by a short taxi to Ortigia.
We recommend staying in Ortigia, close to the venue, for convenience and atmosphere. There are many boutique hotels, guesthouses, and Airbnbs to fit different budgets.
Syracuse is best explored on foot, and cars are not necessary if staying on the island.
We recommend arriving at least one day early. September weather is typically warm, and comfortable walking shoes are a must. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in Italy. 🤍
