Travel Note
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN STAYING ON SITE (or if you know you're going to have too much fun ;) ), You are welcome to tent camp on Dalia and Brett's property (away from the central part of the venue). Please come prepared in advance with your tents/camping set up. PLEASE confirm with me so I can have a list of individuals who will be staying on site!
Flight
Eugene is one option to fly into. From there, it is a 3 1/2 hour drive southwest to Port Orford. Our suggestion is to either take Highway 126 from the airport to Florence, then down the coast. OR, you can commute the I5 corridor for about 30 miles and take Highway 138 and travel through Drain and Elkton Oreogn. Enterprise rents from Eugene and also has a location in North Bend (one hour north of Port Orford) in case emergencies arise.
Flight
Medford is another airport option to fly into. You'd then drive over on Highway 199 through Northern California/southern Oregon coast. This partially goes through the Redwoods, or you can stop by Stout Grove in Crescent City before trekking up north to Port Orford (1.5 hours). Again, another 3 1/2 hour drive to Port Orford.
Flight
Last airport option is North Bend (one hour from Port Orford). Many golfers who go to the Bandon Dunes use this airport, however, there are no direct flights into North Bend unless you're traveling from San Francisco or Denver.
Travel Note
Our recommendation is to first search Airbnb/VRBO for places to stay--there are more options to choose from. If you prefer a hotel, our recommendations would be: The Castaway in Port Orford (2 miles from venue) Tu Tu Tun Lodge in Gold Beach (28 miles south of venue) OR The Bandon Inn (24 miles from the venue, north) The Best Western Inn at Face Rock (24 miles from the venue, north) b.side motel+rv park (boutique hotel 24 miles from the venue, north) The Mill Casino (52 miles/one hour north of venue)
