FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, the dress code is formal. Dress to impress but be mindful of the weather as it is an outdoor wedding in July and temperatures may run high.

Question

What is the theme of the wedding?

Answer

The wedding party will be dressed in brown and the theme will be earth tones. Feel free to dress in African clothes, florals, garden party formal & vibrant colors to stand out.

Question

Where can I purchase a gift? How can I give a monetary gift?

Answer

Yes, we have a registry right here on the website under the "Registry" tab. Using the online registry is quick and easy. You are still very welcome to bring physical money to the wedding to give to the happy new couple. We appreciate your generosity as we begin this new season but we kindly ask that you do not bring a physical gift to the wedding as the bride is moving to the US and will not be able to take your gift. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The event will be kid friendly for those whose children are included in the invitation. That will include those who are related to the family, bridal party or coming out of the country. Please respect our wishes to ensure that the amount of seats matches the guest list. Thank you.

Question

What is an unplugged wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not disrupt the service by standing in the aisles or filming in a manner that disrupts the service. Professional videographers and photographers are capturing the ceremony and we would like to make sure the footage is seamless without interruption. Please no phone calls, live-streaming, scrolling, selfies during the event. Cellphones should be silenced and put away. We kindly ask you to be present, be social and enjoy!

Question

Can I have a plus one?

Answer

All invitations/envelopes are labelled by how many people you may bring to the wedding. If an invite has no number of adults & children, it means the whole household/immediate family is invited. No number on an invitation addressed to one person is solely for that one person. You are not to bring a date, friend, family or driver with you.

Question

What else should I know?

Answer

Please watch your children whilst on the property, please be prepared to identify yourself upon arrival and to only sit at your assigned table, please ask any of our ushers a question if you have any questions.
