What is the weather like in Tampa in February?

Answer

The weather is usually mildly cool and breezy, with temperatures ranging from 56—73°F (13—23°C)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request black tie attire — we’d love to see our family and friends dressed to the nines as we celebrate together. We would prefer you to be overdressed rather than underdressed! 👔 For Men: A suit or tuxedo is preferred. We request that you please do not wear jeans or khakis. 👗 For Women: Floor-length evening gowns are preferred.

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place indoors at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Snell Isle before the reception. The reception will also be indoors at the Rusty Pelican Tampa.

Will you provide transportation to and from the ceremony for those attending from out of town?

Answer

There will be a shuttle bus leaving The Current Hotel at 12:45 pm and returning to The Current Hotel following the ceremony.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, your invitation will be made out to your family or will include the name of your children. Please RSVP for all members of your family attending once you receive your invitation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The Rusty Pelican has parking available in addition to valet parking available at the Current Autograph hotel where our room block is, which is across from the venue (short walking distance).

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, the bar will be open, the drinks will be flowing, and the dance floor will be waiting! Sip, savor, and celebrate — but don’t forget to plan your ride. Uber and Lyft are plentiful in the area and happy to chauffeur our favorite party people!

Can I bring a date?

Your invitation will include your guest. If you are unsure, please reach out to the bride or groom. Please RSVP for your guest if attending once you receive your invitation.

Is Valet covered at the Rusty Pelican?

Answer

Yes! Valet is covered and paid for in advance. Please let valet know your there for the wedding.
