What is the COVID-19 vaccination policy for the wedding?

Answer

All guests must be fully vaccinated to attend any of the wedding activities. We will also be tested before leaving for Asheville and encourage all our guests to do the same.

What's up with the welcome drinks event?

Answer

We would love to see you before the big day if you arrive early! We are finalizing the reservation with the brewery, but the location will have beer, wine, and cocktails available.

What should I wear at the wedding?

Answer

Whatever you'd like! Both brides will be in wedding attire (wedding dress + suit.) But we want you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Prepare for weather in the 60s and 70s with an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception.

Are kids invited?

While we love to see your kids, due to space maximums children are not able to attend the ceremony or reception.

How do we get to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Asheville. There will be plenty of parking available at the venue. If you are flying in and not renting a car Uber/Lyft is available.

What's on the menu for the reception?

Answer

At Buxton Hall BBQ there will an open bar with wine, beer, and cocktails. Dinner will include pulled pork, mac and cheese, and plenty of side options that are vegetarian and gluten free. Plus a delightful non-cake dessert! At Buxton we will have a separate area that is lofted above the main restaurant and a private bar with 6 beers on tap.

Anyone that is interested can follow the brides after the reception to local breweries/bars in downtown Asheville.
