Christina was excited to start her new career, while Christopher was moving to Cleveland to begin his latest job. They both thought to give online dating a try, because "what's the worst that could happen?" Christopher saw her first, but it was Christina that made the first move. She sent him a sweet message to get the conversation started. Christopher had just moved to Cleveland that week, and he told Christina that he really wanted to meet up to learn more about the city. And, learn more about her. Their first date took place at Chipotle. But, the exact location was a mystery. To be thoughtful, Christina went to the Chipotle closest to Christopher’s house, while Christopher went to location closest to Christina’s home! In a time where online dating leads to "catfishing" far too often, their love story almost ended before it even had a chance to begin! Luckily, a quick phone call solved their dilemma and they ended up on the best first date they've ever had. From there, their love story blossomed into a bond tighter than their favorite Chipotle burritos.

Christina was so focused on planning the perfect surprise party for Christopher's 30th birthday, that she had no idea Christopher was planning a surprise of his own. After work that Friday evening, Christopher told Christina they were going to dinner. After she finished getting dolled up for their date, she came downstairs to see her mother's dog run past her. She looked up to see her family and closest friends standing in her kitchen. For those who don't know, Christina's mother and sister live in Charlotte and Florida, so this was very unusual. She immediately asked: "Why are you guys here?" Her mother shared that they decided amongst themselves to come for Christopher's surprise birthday party that weekend. Christina was so confused. No one had spoken to her, and she had planned Christopher's birthday for the NEXT weekend. Now, she thought, his birthday surprise was ruined. But, that was when the real surprise began! When she turned around, Christopher handed her a beautiful photo album filled with memories from their time together and pictures of their closest family members and friends. When Christina got to the end of the album with tears welling in her eyes, Christopher pulled out a box and dropped to one knee. He asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. And, through the happy tears, she said YES!
