Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Think classy, but with room to party. Ladies, it’s your chance to wear that fabulous dress you’ve been saving for a ‘fancy but not too fancy’ occasion. Gents, put on your best button-down or blazer! Basically, come looking sharp, but not like you’re going to the Oscars. We want you to look fabulous, but still able to dance without injury.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony will be held outside on grass, weather depending. The cocktail hour will also be outside and under a Pavillon. Dinner will be held inside the barn.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking area if you choose to drive to the wedding. You may leave a car overnight but it must be picked up by noon on Sunday, May 18th.

What hotel should I book?

Answer

We suggest booking and staying at The Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley, MD. They offer a complimentary breakfast in the morning until 10 am. When booking a room on Friday & Saturday, please use the code: "Burton Brown Wedding Room Block". We will have a get together in the hotel bar (cash bar) after the wedding for all who would like to continue the celebration. The bar will be open from 10pm-2am, food can also be ordered from the bar.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will be offering transportation to and from the Embassy Suites in Hunt Valley, MD to the ceremony. The buses will plan to leave the hotel around 2:30-3:00, for a 4 pm ceremony. At the end of the night we will have one bus leave around 8:30pm, for the Embassy Suites and then have two buses leaving around 10-10:15pm for the Embassy Suites.

We're keeping this celebration adults-only, so no little ones on the guest list. Come ready to let loose and have a great time!
