Cocktail Attire / Garden Party Formal Because we are having a small family wedding, we're excited to take special photos with everyone and would love to coordinate colors and vibes! Women: Aim for fun and bright colors - green, purple, blue, pink, yellow, orange! Preferably no busy patterns, more solid colors :) Men: Black suit, white shirts and black ties. WEATHER / GROUNDS

Answer

The venue manager says weather should be pretty pleasant (70-80 degrees). Bring a coat for when it cools at night! If you plan to walk around the grounds, I'd avoid heels and throw on some flats or boots!

Taft Gardens is about 15-20 minutes from Ventura. We are allowed 20 cars on the property, carpooling or Uber would be great!

WEDDING DAY TIMELINE

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:30pm and will be short and sweet. We will then take photos, play games, grab some drinks and appetizers. Dinner will begin around 6pm.
