Alex's sister in law was the nanny for one of Caitlin's best friends. They thought we would be a good match, and pushed for us to meet at Alex's brother's wedding. We talked to each other the entire night, and the rest is history!

After we had decided to get engaged, Caitlin had initially not wanted a surprise. We were going up to Boston soon to see a Patriots game with Alex's Dad, so the proposal was planned for then. Two weeks before the trip, Alex's sister, Nicole, convinces Caitlin that a surprise is needed. This led to a last minute trip to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Gardens, with a not so secret surprise proposal. In the end, surprised or not, Caitlin said yes in one of the happiest days of our lives. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Atlanta!
