After my family moved to Nelson County, I knew no one. But every once in a while I would see this two-tone blue Ford pickup truck and was always intrigued for what reason, I didn’t know. I always wondered who drove it around as I never saw the driver. One day on Facebook (of all things) I got a friend suggestion. It was Tim! I immediately felt connected to this stranger. So I clicked on his Facebook and there it was! The old Ford truck I had been seeing around. I had finally found the owner of that truck. So I friended him and we immediately hit it off as friends. Not long after, we officially met at a car show that was being hosted by the car club he was apart of. The moment we locked eyes, we both knew it was forever and we never looked back.
On a beautiful Sunday, we both decided it would be nice to take a break and go fishing. So we got some breakfast and headed to a local pond. We went right to fishing and started our usual little friendly competition of who can catch the most fish. Once we equaled out to 3 each, Tim decided that would be a good time to turn me around, tell me how much he loved me, and get down on one knee. Somehow I found my voice and a way to set the fishing pole down so I could wrap him up and say YES! Once the initial shock had passed, the tears arrived. Tim is not a man of many words but he really made that moment special and it will stay with us forever. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at the wedding!
