We’re getting married (finally)!

Chris and I just couldn’t seem to stop running into one another in the halls of Ola High School. In Mr. Head’s 11th grade math class, we struck up a friendship that eventually lead to mutual high school crushes. We started to date in March of 2013 with a first date at (where else?) Longhorn’s Steakhouse, and it’s been pure magic ever since! Despite our (somewhat) long distance relationship throughout college—with Chris attending school at the University of Georgia and my attending GCSU and then Clayton State—we remained the best of friends and each other’s “person”. After college, we decided that we could no longer stand to be apart and decided to move together to Athens, GA while Chris attends law school and I work as a dental hygienist. The next step of our 8-year journey began when Chris took me to the top of Yonah Mountain and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him (I had to help him get the words out). I am overjoyed that I get to spend the rest of my life with the man I’ve pictured myself beside since I was 16. Both of our families are over the moon, and we just can’t wait to be married on Jekyll Island this August and live out our happily ever after... FINALLY!
