Is there a dress code?

Our wedding is formal attire. Think elegant and elevated, while still comfortable for an August celebration in Virginia. For guests, this typically means suits with a dress shirt and tie for men, and floor-length gowns or formal midi dresses for women. Lightweight, breathable fabrics are encouraged. Linen-blend suits, chiffon, silk, or satin dresses are all great choices for the summer heat. Please keep in mind that there will be walking on grass, so we recommend women choose shoes accordingly. We kindly ask that guests avoid casual attire like sundresses, jeans, polos, or sneakers. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best!
