Once upon a time in Southern California, love began to bloom in the summer of 2021. Princess Lauren Burley found herself on the popular dating app called “Bumble”. She was seeking a prince that was worth her time and worthy of her big heart. One day, whilst swiping away, she came upon a young lad named Mason Retmier. The unique thing about Bumble is that the lady must message first. Intrigued, Lady Lauren slid into the DM’s of the young lad, with a romantic and endearing “Hey.” They discussed common interests such as the desert, similar music tastes, sharing favorite holidays such as the 4th of July (Merica’), and the love they shared for their families. Mason was quite ready to “woo” Princess Lauren and planned their first date. Being the hopeless romantic he is, Mason arranged an evening showing of “Mortal Combat”, followed by dinner at the fine establishment called “Bj’s”. Not long after, Mason was welcomed with open arms by Lauren’s family. Mason quickly bonded with Lauren’s father, Sir Joey of Huntington. The same would happen for Lady Lauren when she first met Mason’s parents at a close friend’s wedding. As for Mason’s comrades, Lady Lauren was SO welcomed that they let him know if there was ever a break in the relationship, he would be tossed to the dragons. As time passed, discussions of marriage and futures together began to spark. After what felt like ages, Mason finally proposed to Lauren at the tippy top of the Land of Laguna, surrounded by the ocean and close friends. In most fairy tales this is where you would say “The End”, however, this is just the beginning.

What was your very first impression of each other? Mason: She was super cool and we got along great! She had an awesome personality. Lauren: His personality and how we could talk/laugh about anything! Who said "I love you" first? Mason: On the night of my best friend's wedding, after we dropped off our friends, I held Lauren's hand and gave her a kiss and told her I loved her for the first time. Lauren: On the night of Erin's and Zach's wedding, at midnight Mason told me he loved me for the first time. When did you know each other was "the one"? Mason: Within the first month of meeting Lauren, our relationship strengthened and I realized she was the one for me. Lauren: Around 6 months is when I realized Mason was the one. When and where was your first kiss and who initiated it? Mason: It was a full moon and a foggy night, I grabbed Lauren's hand to say goodbye and asked her to be my girlfriend and then kissed her goodnight. Lauren: Outside my house, after he asked me to be his girlfriend he leaned in and kissed me at 10pm. What is your favorite thing about each other? Mason: His personality and his respect for others. Lauren: Her personality, she's very caring and that's something I admire about her.
